Metropolitan Health Risk provides an Oncology programme for Transmed clients with cancer. You have access to all kinds of info on different cancers and how to live with each one.

The service provider for benefits is the Independent Clinical Oncology Network (ICON). If you want your claims to be paid in full and not to have to contend with any co-payments, you must accept your cancer treatment services from an ICON provider of which Transmed provides a list.

Chronic illness

Transmed also offers a chronic medicine plan for members who require treatment for their condition. To view this list, click here. Some chronic conditions include the likes of heart failure, hypertension, diabetes, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and hyperlipidaemia.
