Covid-19: Good news for medical aid members

The good news is that the Council for Medical Schemes has announced that all expenses incurred by medical aid patients relating to Covid-19 must fall under Prescribed Minimum Benefits (PMBs.)

Therefore every member of any plan with any medical scheme in South Africa – including hospital plans – is fully covered for expenses arising from Covid-19.
